Win-win situation for Ahoi watchmaker from NOMOS Glashütte: With the iF product design award, the "watch for sports fans" has already received the second international design prize. For NOMOS Glashütte one of over 100 awards.
With Ahoi on track: the sporty timepiece from NOMOS Glashütte has just won the iF product design award and convinced an international jury of design experts. The watch, which is up to 20 atm (200 meters) watertight, withstands every storm to the most elegant and combines the finest design with equally fine inner values. It was not until the summer of 2013 that Ahoi had already won the Good Design Award 2013 as well as several audiences.
The iF product design award has been awarded for outstanding design services for 60 years and is one of the oldest and most prestigious awards worldwide. He is the winner of the "Zeitzeichen der Moderne", including a number of NOMOS models: 2013 already won model Tangomat GMT Plus the coveted award, 2012 went to model Zurich.
"Two important prizes for a new model - that is a huge recognition for us," says Judith Borowski, responsible for the brand and design of NOMOS Glashütte. And is looking forward to ahoi-designer Thomas Höhnel.
The award ceremony will take place on 28 February in Munich.
